Advanced Battery Energy Storage Systems for ASEAN's Energy Transition
Altilium Green Energy assembles and deploys advanced Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and renewable energy infrastructure solutions for utilities, commercial and industrial businesses, and governments across ASEAN.
Asia-Pacific is at an inflection point. Demand is surging, grids are straining, and the window to get the transition right is narrowing. At Altilium Green Energy, we work with governments, utilities, industry and communities to make clean, reliable power a practical reality — not a distant ambition.
We deliver scalable grid-scale energy storage and distributed energy infrastructure solutions that improve grid stability, integrate renewable energy, reduce power costs, and strengthen energy resilience across Southeast Asia and beyond. Our active project pipeline exceeds 1,141 MWh, with deployments currently advancing in the Philippines and Sri Lanka. Our market reach extends across Asia-Pacific, South Asia, the Middle East, and beyond — with Altilium systems and partnerships active in markets worldwide.
What Drives Us
We started with a simple belief: that energy independence shouldn’t be a privilege reserved for the most developed markets. Communities and industries across ASEAN deserve the same grid stability, renewable energy infrastructure, and the economic opportunity that advanced battery energy storage systems can unlock.
So we build the infrastructure to make that happen. From project design and engineering through assembly, deployment and long-term operational support, we help organisations deliver reliable energy infrastructure with confidence. Our utility energy storage and C&I energy storage systems are designed to stabilise grids, support renewable integration, reduce energy costs, and underpin national net-zero commitments — with the engineering expertise and long-term partnership that complex projects actually require.
Many energy storage solutions prioritise the lowest upfront cost. We prioritise lifetime performance, safety and long-term value.
Our BESS technology is built around advanced battery chemistries that are non-toxic, environmentally responsible, and designed for circularity. That means:
A lifespan that significantly outlasts standard alternatives — reducing e-waste and delivering stronger ROI for utilities and SMEs alike.
11x slower degradation rates — internal testing indicates degradation rates up to 11x lower than conventional lithium-ion storage systems under comparable operating conditions *
No compromise on safety — our systems minimise risk to the local ecosystems and communities where we operate
*Testing methodology available upon request.
Technology Built to Last
Proven in the Field
Our technology credentials are backed by operational deployments — not just laboratory testing. Smart BESS™ is already delivering commercial grid services across four commissioned sites in the United Kingdom, spanning legacy asset retrofit, utility-scale grid services, greenfield merchant deployment, and advanced microgrid integration
All four projects are operating under real commercial conditions relevant to the infrastructure demands of ASEAN energy markets. Our active project pipeline — currently advancing in the Philippines and Sri Lanka — now exceeds 1,141 MWh.

Independently Verified Impact
Infrastructure investors, governments and utilities require evidence as well as innovation. That’s why we’ve built our Impact Management and Measurement (IMM) framework to an externally validated standard.
Altilium is a participant in the 2025 UNDP Sustainable Ventures Support (SVS) programme, with our IMM framework officially signed off by the UNDP and aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. This gives government counterparts and institutional investors the transparency and bankability they need to move forward with confidence.
Our approach is also designed to support procurement transparency, ESG reporting requirements, and long-term infrastructure financing readiness.
Altilium is implementing ISO 14064-1-aligned greenhouse gas accounting systems to ensure credible emissions reporting from day one.
Strategic Institutional Partnerships
Altilium Green Energy works alongside institutions whose mandate is to accelerate exactly the kind of infrastructure investment we deliver. Our relationships include:
Government & Development
UK Foreign Commonwealth Development Organisation (UK FCDO)
Villgro Philippines
UNDP & CIIP - SDG Venture Scaler Programme
Commercial & Technical
G.A.A. Delgado Inc (GAAD)
Alnitak Global Inc (Canada)
Rooted in the Region
Global standards mean nothing without local execution. That’s why we’ve established our assembly and operations hub in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, the Philippines' leading industrial and logistics hub — a purpose-built facility spanning containerised BESS assembly, pre-commissioning,quality assurance and factory acceptance testing (FAT) prior to deployment. It serves as our strategic base for rapid deployment across the Philippines, Southeast Asia, and the broader Asia-Pacific region, while maintaining the UK/US quality and safety standards our partners expect.
Our Subic Bay presence enables regional logistics coordination, localised assembly of utility-scale and microgrid infrastructure, technical servicing, and long-term project support across the ASEAN region. It is the operational backbone behind our ability to move quickly on deployment-ready projects — from grid-scale storage to distributed energy solutions for C&I customers.
Operating locally also means something more to us: it means creating skilled jobs, developing technical expertise, and investing in the communities that are part of our supply chain and customer base.
Why Altilium
-
Our BESS systems are designed, assembled and tested to UK and US safety and performance standards. These are the same standards applied to our four live commercial deployments in the United Kingdom — giving procurement teams and technical evaluators a verifiable quality baseline, not a self-declared one.
-
We assemble and deploy from our purpose-built facility in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Philippines. Every system goes through containerised assembly, pre-commissioning, quality assurance and factory acceptance testing before leaving our facility. This means shorter lead times, lower logistics risk, and no managing delivery from overseas.
-
Our technology is already operating commercially across four sites in the United Kingdom — covering retrofit, utility-scale, greenfield and microgrid applications. These are live assets generating revenue and delivering grid services today. Our active project pipeline in the Philippines and Sri Lanka now exceeds 1,141 MWh.
-
Most storage comparisons focus on upfront cost. We focus on the full asset life. Our battery chemistry degrades at up to 11x slower rates than conventional lithium-ion alternatives. That means longer asset life, fewer replacement cycles and a stronger total cost of ownership — which is where the real financial case is made.
-
Our Impact Management and Measurement framework has been officially validated by the UNDP through the 2025 SVS programme and aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. This gives government counterparts and institutional investors the independent evidence they need for procurement due diligence, ESG reporting and bankability assessments.
-
Commissioning is the start of the relationship, not the end. Our Subic Bay operations hub provides ongoing technical servicing, aftersales support and in-region project management across ASEAN. Assets are supported throughout their full operating life — not just at handover.
-
We work with grid-scale utilities, commercial and industrial operators, and government energy programmes. Each has different technical requirements, procurement processes and financing structures. We understand those differences and structure our approach to match — not apply the same model to every project.
